One of the aspirants who contested the position of the national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Raymond Dokpesi, has faulted the national leadership of the party over the distribution of ‘Unity List’ among the delegates at the convention venue.

He was one of those who rejected the list.

The delegates were expected to use the list to determine who they would vote for at the national convention of the party.

Dokpesi’s name was not on the list containing names of the ‘preferred candidates’ allegedly produced by the 11 governors elected on the platform of the party for various positions.

He described the process as a charade and insisted that the development  might destroy the party.

Dokpesi told journalists at the convention ground that the process of voting had been compromised following the distribution of the list.
