Cristiano Ronaldo bagged a brace as Real Madrid thrashed Sevilla  5-0 at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday.
The win reduced the gap between Real and LaLiga leaders Barcelona, who face sixth-placed Villarreal on Sunday, to five points.
Jose Ignacio Nacho opened scoring for Zinedine Zidane’s men three minutes into the game.
Newly crowned Ballon D’or winner Ronaldo scored his first of the game in the 23rd minute.
The Portuguese added his second and Madrid’s third of the evening from the penalty spot eight minutes later.
Germany midfielder, Toni Kroos  and young defender Achraf Hakimi added the fourth and fifth goals respectively in the first half.
