Bomadi—Youths from Bomadi/Patani Federal Constituency, Delta State, have promised to returned Mr. Nicholas Mutu, the member representing them in the House of Representatives, in 2019.
The youths also passed a vote of confidence in the lawmaker, noting that his performance in lawmaking, human capital development and attracting federal projects to the area was overwhelming.
Speaking at its meeting in Bomadi, Mr. Sunny Koibi, founder of Niger Delta Lucrative Movement, NDLM, said since it was legitimate for elected lawmakers to seek re-election, its members were urging Mutu to go for another term.
Koibi called on Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State and the leadership of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the state to work with Mutu as he has the key to the winning formula.
He said the lawmaker should be encouraged so he can attract more projects to the federal constituency, warning that pull him down syndrome will spell doom for the people.
